When he first arrives in a new environment, he prefers to be a quiet “observer,” watching from a distance to make sure everything feels safe. He is not aggressive — even when nervous, he may hiss to express his discomfort, but he never lashes out or uses his claws.
Building trust with Kobe takes time:
• In the first week, he may feel unsure, but will cautiously take treats from your hand
• Within 2–4 weeks, he begins exploring and accepting your presence
• After about a month, his playful, “hidden” side starts to appear
• With more time, he grows confident and will quietly keep you company

They are the key to his heart and the best way to help him slowly come out of his shell.
At the beginning, he will need a quiet space where he feels safe, with food and a litter box nearby. He may be shy, but he is never mean — just a sensitive soul who needs patience and understanding.
Kobe would do best in a calm, patient home. Watching him transform from cautious to trusting, from hiding to choosing to be near you, is incredibly rewarding ❤️

❤️‍🩹 Kobe has a mild heart murmur. Our vet recommends monitoring with regular check-ups. Before adoption, he will receive a full exam, updated vaccinations, and he has already completed bloodwork with normal results, including a negative feline leukemia test.
