Finding a New Home for Your Pet
If You Can No Longer Care for Your Cat and Wish to Surrender to Us, Please Read Carefully:
1. We do not purchase cats: Cats must be surrendered free of charge. We also do not refund any future adoption fees.
2. A surrender fee may apply: The fee depends on factors such as the cat’s age, vaccination and spay/neuter status, health condition, source and reason for surrender, as well as our current intake capacity.
3. We are not obligated to accept every cat: Each case will be reviewed, and we reserve the right to decline intake.
4. Transfer to partner rescues: If transferred to a partner rescue, the process and organization’s name will not be disclosed, and we cannot provide further updates.
5. Updates after surrender: We may provide occasional updates while the cat is still under our care. However, once adopted, we will not provide further updates or disclose the adopter’s information.
6. Medical and basic care: All surrendered cats will receive a basic health check and vaccinations. Cats not yet spayed/neutered will be scheduled for surgery. If veterinary care, such as dental extractions, is required, we will arrange treatment as needed.
7. Full disclosure of health history: Withholding medical information may delay treatment and risk the cat’s health or life. Please be honest about any known conditions.
8. Living arrangements: Cats may be placed in foster homes or displayed at adoption partner locations such as PetSmart or Pet Valu. Placements are at our discretion, and visits are not permitted.
9. Behavioural issues: If a cat exhibits frequent aggression or unstable behaviour, we reserve the right to transfer them to another rescue better equipped to help.
10. We do not euthanize healthy cats: No matter how long a cat stays with us, they will not be euthanized for space or convenience.
11. Euthanasia under veterinary advice: If a cat suffers from a severe illness and a veterinarian recommends euthanasia to prevent suffering, we reserve the right to proceed with humane euthanasia.

如果您無法繼續飼養貓咪，並希望將牠交給我們，請先仔細閱讀以下事項：

6. 醫療與基本照護：貓咪交來後會接受基礎檢查與疫苗接種，未絕育者會安排手術。若有醫生建議的治療（如拔牙），我們也會依需求處理。
7. 誠實告知健康狀況：若隱瞞病史，貓咪可能因延誤治療或缺乏照顧而惡化甚至死亡，因此請務必誠實交代。
8. 生活環境安排：貓咪可能被安置於寄養家庭、PetSmart 或 Pet Valu 等合作地點，依我們 rescue 的安排而定，不開放探訪。
9. 行為問題：若貓咪因性格導致頻繁攻擊或不穩定，我們有權將牠轉交給其他更能協助的 rescue。
10. 我們不會安樂健康的貓：不論牠在我們這裡待多久，都不會被安樂。
11. 醫療建議下的安樂：若貓咪患有嚴重疾病，並經獸醫建議安樂以減少痛苦，我們保留實施無痛安樂的權利。
